I am feeling a deep sadness at David's passing. I knew him as a friend and colleague many years ago at New College. For a while, I was the inter-library loan librarian, constantly ordering the most interesting texts and having the most intriguing conversations. He introduced me to Kabbalah and the tree of life. He was one of the kindest as well as one of the most creative people I have ever known.
David was/is one of the truly good ones with whom I have shared the road in this life.
